Re: sores on the leaves of Arum maculatum
|
From: "Peter Boyce" <P.Boyce at lion.rbgkew.org.uk> on 1997.12.11 at 14:03:43(1729)
Dear James
The character of the raised and sunken spots on the leaves of Arum
maculatum is, like almost everything else about the species,
variable. Most of the spotted plants will have the spots flush
with the leaf surface, whereas a few will have them as the 'sores'
depicted in the Arum plate.
Happy observing
Pete
